Making a really dark picture light, and enhancing the colours

to

Theres just five simple steps....
1) Cut your image to 100x100 (standard icon stuff)
2) Add a layer of #FFFFFF and set to soft light 100% opacity
3)Then duplicate that #FFFFFF layer and set it to Overlay 62.4% opacity
4)After that add this texture by ______ (i actually lost tabs on who made this texture so if you did tell me and I'll add credit) set it to Screen 70.2% Opacity
5)Add a layer of #fffbf8 and set it to soft light 70.2% opacity

and your done
Tips
You should probably sharpen your image if you
are using a picture of a person
